UV-stabilized, ether-based polyurethane tubing, sold by the meter.  For use with a Simple Penetrator to create a reliable, waterproof connection between two enclosures or devices.  This 95A-durometer tubing resists abrasion while being highly flexible and kink resistant.

Use this waterproof polyurethane tubing with a Simple Penetrator to create a simple, robust waterproof connection between any two enclosures or devices.

Polyurethane is extremely durable and abrasion resistant while also being highly flexible and kink resistant.  It is suitable for long-term immersion in water and is UV-stabilized.  The hardness rating is 95A Shore® A.

Available in three sizes:

• 1/4" OD X 5/32" ID. Fits M6 Simple Penetrator. Opaque Black.
• 8mm OD X 5mm ID. Fits M6 or M10 Simple Penetrator. Transparent Blue.
• 3/8" OD X 1/4" ID. Fits M10 Simple Penetrator. Transparent Red.

Polyurethane tubing can be bonded or potted using urethane adhesives and potting compounds, provided that the surface is properly roughened and cleaned.

At approximately 70 meters depth, this tubing will begin to collapse.  This will not damage the tubing, but will apply pressure to the wires or cable inside the tubing.
